	WPI Technical Theatre Handbook: Finishing
	Finishing The final step in set construction is to finish the set. The purpose of this step is to add detail, color and texture to the set so that it fits within the look desired by the production design team. Finishing a set tends to rely heavily upon artistic talent rather than technical knowledge, but there are still important technical considerations to be aware of.
