Previous: Why Design and Implement
  Contents
When the project began, a general set of goals was established. First,
it was desirable to design a practical, marketable product. To do
this would require careful balance of quality, affordability, and
expandability. Secondly, and most importantly, it was decided that
the system would be implemented, producing a product as near to production
quality as possible.
These goals were very nearly met. The hardware is functional, with only some
performance issues left to conquer. Firmware and software still require
additional development time to implement the complete system design, but
early tests show that the system has a lot of potential.
