- Thunderstorm, from Echoes of Nature: Thunder CD,
used directly from CD.
- Drip Sounds, manufactured, multi-track recording. The
underlying effect was created by recording water dripping from a
faucet into a glass of water. With the use of an equalizer and a
reverb setting on an effects processor, it was made to sound as if it
was inside of a castle.
- Ocean Sounds, from Echoes of Nature: Ocean Waves
CD, used directly from CD.
- Boat Sounds, manufactured, multi-track recording. The
base of this effect was an ocean sound from the
Echoes of Nature: Ocean Waves CD. With the use of an equalizer
and a noise generator, the wave sounds were manipulated to sound
like those heard from a boat. The sound of a computer monitor base
creaking, with appropriate equalization and pitch shifting, was used
to complete the effect.
- Harfleur Battle, manufactured, multi-track recording.
This effect used material from the Echoes of Nature: Ocean
Waves CD as a base, as it was a somewhat nautical battle. Sound
effects from various combat and war CD's were used with equalization
and pitch shifting techniques to present the illusion of a battle.
- Battle Preparation Sounds, manufactured, multi-track
recording. The raw material for this effect was recorded in a music
practice room in Alden Hall. It consisted of groups of people
talking, making noise, etc. The raw sound was then pitch shifted and
equalized to create a moderately realistic battle preparation effect.
- Agincourt Battle, manufactured, multi-track recording.
The basis for this effect was a medieval battle atmosphere track
from the Sound Effects: Combat and War CD. It had a
lengthening technique applied to it to stretch the sound from one
minute to approximately five. Layered on top of this background sound
were various tank, explosion and gun effects.
- Cannon Fire, sampled from Sound Effects: Combat and
War, replayed from digital audio sampler.
- Helicopter Landing, from Fun With Sound Effects:
Volume 1, used directly from CD.
