The TR-6006 is a step-based, real-time editable MIDI pattern sequencer, mainly intended for drum and percussion sounds. The user interface is very hands-on and direct, similar to the vintage TR-606 drum machine from Roland. It is a close relative to (and not coincidentally, a great partner to) the x0x sequencer. The prototype is based on the MIDIbrick MIDI development platform. Later versions will likely be built on their own PC boards.
